Always Working For A Better Future
Welcome to the 2022 re-elect Ross Eadie website. It is an honour working for the people of the Mynarski Ward. You may not always see me out there, but I assure you that I’m always working for a better future in the North End, West Kildonan (Mynarski Ward), and Winnipeg.
Indigenous healing and Reconciliation are critical issues for Winnipeg. Since childhood I have witnessed the tragic effects of the trauma that has been caused by colonization. Prior to being elected to office in 2018 and throughout my career I am proud and humbled to have worked toward alleviating some of this burden. I have marched with women and men calling for the end of violence against Indigenous women and girls, supported family advocacy groups such as “No Stone Unturned”, pressed the Winnipeg Police Service to examine and begin to change the way service is delivered to Indigenous and people of colour and taken action to affect positive change. Historically, public education has contributed to the destruction of Indigenous people while it should be enabling healing and improvement to ones life. It has been an honour to assist education, cultural and language efforts in the Mynarski Ward. But there is more to do.
Please take time to read about the details of work that has been done in the Ward since 2018 and before. The “Ross Record” provides information about the following: Ward Office, Council Portfolio, Ward Improvements and Ward Issues.
To continue this work, it is my sincere hope you will join the team and volunteer, donate and, or put up an election sign.
